Description: GTW.NET has an immediate sales opportunity available for an aggressive, results–oriented, self–reliant, self–starting performer with a proven track record of selling technical solutions. The candidate must have the ability to interact with VP/Manager level personnel and IT personnel with varying levels of technical knowledge within small, medium, and large business environments. The ability to tailor conversations to match the technical level of clients is a must. The position involves client development; understanding the technical and business needs of the client; consultative interaction; suggesting solutions; developing quotes; supporting product evaluation and integration. Our goal for this individual is to have a direct impact on developing a local and regional client base. Gateway to the Web® offers a fast paced, exciting work environment in a rapidly growing company. The candidate will be motivated to be rewarded for their efforts.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate new business by proactively identifying prospective sales leads to penetrate the marketplace
  • Identify clients business needs and credentials to negotiate and close business
  • Make effective sales presentations tailored to the technical level of key decision makers
  • Sell GTW.NET’s capabilities and credentials to negotiate and close business
  • Grow accounts to full potentials and generate maximum revenue on a long–term basis
  • Expand sales efforts and broaden customer base
  • Leverage partnerships with vendors to facilitate sales
  • Identify and pursue non–traditional revenue opportunities
  • Develop and execute creative and innovative programs to influence sales opportunities

Requirements:
  • Must have successful and proven track record of selling technical solutions to small and medium sized businesses working directly with CIOs, CFOs, and DP/IT workforces to implement creative and innovative business opportunities
  • A proven track record in consultative sales, preferably in technical–oriented solutions
  • Must demonstrate the ability to influence decision making process and communicate value to executives
  • Must demonstrate the ability to develop an in–depth understanding of the clients business in order to build and maintain long–term relationships
  • Strong organization, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Must demonstrate energy, enthusiasm, aggressive attitude and persistence to succeed in a start–up environment
  • Working knowledge of Windows 95/98/NT/2000 and general computer literacy are critical with particular emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
  • Must have excellent follow–up skills and the ability to manage a large number of contacts

What is the Strategic Partners Program?

Recognizing that our internal sales force can never reach all of the potential Customers requiring our Access, Hosting and Development services, GTW.NET has created the Strategic Partner Program so that you, the Alternate Salesperson, can earn cash or services by referring business to GTW.NET.

How is the program structured?
As a GTW.NET partner you will be provided three flexible methods by which you can gain business for yourself and GTW.NET: the Customer Referral option, Freelance Sales option and the Reseller option.

Each option has its advantages, most noticeably a graduated commission schedule based on the amount of time the Partner and GTW.NET contribute to the sale.

As a Partner, you do not have to choose which option you wish to exercise for all projects. Rather, you will have the opportunity to choose the most appropriate option for each project. This provides you with added flexibility you won't find in other partnerships of this kind.

Will GTW.NET provide any materials to help me sell?
GTW.NET will provide the Reseller with our entire one-sheet resource kit in Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) format for distribution to potential Customers and provide you a better understanding of how the services work. You will be provided two versions of this documentation: one set will be optimized for screen viewing and distribution over the Internet; the other set will be optimized for color printing and print distribution.

Can I receive GTW.NET services at a reduced rate?
Yes. By choosing a trade value commission rather than a cash commission, you can save up to 50% on any service offered by GTW.NET.

For example, if your cash commission is $500, your trade value commission would be $1000 worth of service(s).
